Call for Applications: Early Career Scholarships
ISFL World Conference, Istanbul

The International Society of Family Law invites applications for early career scholarships to support scholars from less affluent countries wishing to attend the 19th World Conference of the International Society of Family Law, taking place 9-12 September 2026 in Istanbul (Türkiye).

A limited number of scholarships is available. The scholarships are intended to cover part of the expenses related to participation in the Conference, such as the registration fee and/or accommodation.

Eligibility:
Applicants must be early career scholars whose academic or professional careers are within seven (7) years of their first academic appointment or equivalent qualification.

Application materials:
• A presentation proposal (two-page abstract)
• Curriculum vitae
• Letter of reference from a senior colleague or university professor explaining the applicant’s academic or professional merit and the need for financial support

Submission:
All application materials must be submitted together by February 28, 2026 to the Chair of the ISFL Scholarships Committee, Professor Ursula Basset:
