Symposium on Current Developments in Maritime and Insurance Law in Memory of Prof. h.c. Dr. Bülent SÖZER

On October 25, 2024, the “Symposium on Current Developments in Maritime and Insurance Law” was organized in memory of Prof. h.c. Dr. Bülent SÖZER in collaboration with Piri Reis University Faculty of Law, the Maritime Law Practice and Research Center, and the Swansea University Institute of International Shipping and Trade Law. The opening speech was delivered by Prof. Dr. Nafiz Arıca, followed by memorial speeches for Prof. h.c. Dr. Bülent Sözer by Prof. Dr. Rayegan Kender, Prof. Dr. Haluk Kabaalioğlu, and Prof. Dr. Sezer Ilgın.

The event was attended by numerous distinguished scholars, whose contributions were greatly appreciated. The proceedings of the symposium will be published in a book in the coming days.
